Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-07

This policy explains what Provenance Advisory Group (Provenance Advisory Group) collects when you use this site, why, and the choices you have. We are an independent referral partner. We never receive, store or process your company's files or operating data.

Information we collect

When you complete the eligibility check, you choose to give us:

  • Contact details: first and last name, work email, role, and an optional phone number.
  • Company details: website, country, approximate number of employees, industry.
  • Answers about your records: which tools you use, how long you've used them, whether you've switched your main messaging tool, how much of the record is in English, and who owns the records.
  • Your consent choices and the exact wording you agreed to.

We also collect limited technical information automatically: a one-way hashed form of your IP address (we do not store the raw IP), your browser's user-agent string, the page that referred you, and campaign parameters (UTMs and click identifiers such as fbclid) if present in the link you arrived through.

Why we use it

  • To review whether your records are likely to qualify for licensing and to contact you about it.
  • With your explicit consent, to share the information you submitted with prospective data buyers so they can evaluate a potential introduction.
  • To prevent spam and abuse of the form (the hashed IP and rate limiting).
  • To measure the performance of our advertising, only if you accept cookies.

Sharing with prospective buyers

We share the details you submit with prospective data buyers only after you check the consent box on the form. We do this to evaluate and, if it fits, arrange an introduction. We never sell your personal information for any other purpose. If you have not consented, we do not share your information with buyers.

Cookies and the marketing pixel

The site shows a cookie banner before loading any analytics or advertising pixel. If you select "Reject," no marketing pixel loads and no advertising events are sent, client-side or server-side. If you select "Accept," we load the Meta Pixel and may send matching server-side events to measure ad performance. You can change your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Retention and deletion

We keep submissions for as long as needed to evaluate a potential introduction and to keep a record of consent, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@provenanceadvisorygroup.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses.

  • California (CCPA/CPRA): you can request access to, or deletion of, your personal information, and you can opt out of any sale or sharing of it. We do not sell personal information outside the referral purpose described above.
  • United Kingdom and EEA (UK GDPR / GDPR): you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Our legal bases are your consent and our legitimate interest in evaluating a referral.

To exercise any of these, email info@provenanceadvisorygroup.com. We will respond within the time your local law requires.

No sale of personal information

We do not sell your personal information. The only sharing we do is with prospective data buyers, with your consent, for the referral purpose described in this policy.
